- Participate in surveys, promotions, or research: Any information you choose to provide.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use ModuSell, we automatically collect:

- Usage information: Pages viewed, features used, clicks, interactions, referring pages, and activity within the ModuSell platform.

Depending on the features you use, this may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and shipping addresses, order details, product interactions, cart and checkout activity, customer segments, campaign engagement, and payment-related information received from payment processors. Full payment card credentials are generally handled by the applicable payment processor. You are responsible for providing appropriate notices to your customers, obtaining any required consents, and ensuring that your use of ModuSell complies with applicable privacy and marketing laws.
For information about ModuSell account holders, website visitors, and people who contact us, ModuSell generally determines why and how that information is processed. For personal information that a merchant submits to ModuSell or that we process through a merchant's store, ModuSell generally acts as a processor or service provider on behalf of that merchant, subject to applicable law.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the platform: Create and manage accounts, host storefronts, maintain products and inventory, process orders, support checkout, and deliver requested features.
- Support merchant marketing features: Enable campaigns, customer segmentation, discounts, automations, abandoned-cart recovery, and related tools when you choose to use them.
- Provide analytics and reporting: Measure store, campaign, product, order, and platform performance and present insights to authorized users.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse: Authenticate users, detect suspicious activity, investigate fraud, protect accounts, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve ModuSell: Diagnose issues, understand feature usage, improve performance, test changes, and develop new functionality.
